Dr. John Wegmann

Hello, I am Dr. John Wegmann, D.C. and was born in Davenport, IA. I come from a very large family in Pleasant Valley, IA and earned my associate in science from Tarrant County College in Texas. Then in June of 1995, I completed my Doctoral of Chiropractic from Palmer College in Davenport, IA and have now been practicing for over 30 years. September of 1996 was the year Maple City Chiropractic was opened by my wife and myself in Monmouth, IL. Besides being extremely dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care to all my patients, I actively participate in medical seminars and frequently use a variety of techniques including, but not limited to; diversified, activator, ART, traction, and drop techniques to name a few. Outside of my practice I enjoy spending time with my family, fishing with my son, riding ATVs, and advocating for chiropractic health awareness.

Dr. Melissa Boney-Wegmann

My name is Dr. Melissa Boney-Wegmann DC. I was born in Davenport, Iowa, and grew up in Moline, Illinois. After high school, I attended Black Hawk College in Moline, where I earned my bachelor’s in science degree. I then attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport where I received my doctoral degree in October of 1995. In September of 1996, my husband and I opened Maple City Chiropractic in Monmouth, Illinois. The techniques that I offer to my patients are chiropractic drop techniques, diversified, activator, and active release.

In my off time, I often enjoy time at the river and spending time with my family and friends. “I have found that being in a small community throughout the years has been very rewarding. I enjoy coming to work and treating my patients each day. I take a true interest in each of my patients and try to give them the best professional treatment and advice that I can. The chiropractic profession changed my life as a child, and I work hard to give that same experience to my patients each day.”
